A special thank you to some extraordinary people:

No one is an island and I could not have come this far without these special people.

Bryan- My son, my buddy, my friend.  We may bonk heads; but he keeps me as young at heart- as he does planting grey hairs.  But he always has believed in my work, been there for me, and understood the- who, what, when, where and why- of me.  Thank you, Bryan, for accepting and challenging our life together.

Mom- I miss her and wish she was still with us. She has always believed in my artwork and skills. She always made sure I had plenty of crayon's and coloring books, when I was a tiny tot. Taught me how to kick butt, when it came to research and the use of a library. If I couldn't afford a class, to get the books and learn how to do it on my own. Everything you see in my gallery wouldn't have been possible without her example and teachings. But most of all she taught me to stand my ground and be my own individual.

Dad- He has supported me in all my endeavors. He shared his love of the earth and preserving it, along with teaching me all the basic sciences.  All those evenings in the shop building one thing or another, whether it was making a canoe or dulcimer from a kit, a new island for the kitchen or all the back porch science projects.  For teaching me the basics in photography, and going to and cheering me on in all sports through my school years. Also, for the honor of being able to graphically design his beautiful photography and placing them into my shop.

Kate- (lol) For not killing her sister yet, after all the years we have tormented each other. Always willing to help out, when the need arises and using her professional skills as a librarian when I run into a brick wall researching one thing or another.

John- Always there when an insurance question arises and backs up his wife when she is helping me with one thing or another.

Jenny- No one could ask for a better Niece. She has given ideas, checked out my sites to be sure things work.  Introducing me to CafePress was the hugest help, it created the start of this whole endeavor.

Tony-  For being such a loving Nephew. He has always been full of ideas and support.  He has been true family and a good influence to my son.

Zsolt (face)- He may live across the puddle, but he lives beside me in my heart.  No closer friend could have the patience to be ever encouraging, letting me bounce ideas off him, rant with frustrations, and pounce with excitement over accomplishments.  Thank you,  I couldn't have kept going towards this dream without your help.

Vashti of the Flaming Tresses  (SCA) - Ruth was a vivid individual who unknowingly made huge contributions to helping me out during a very rough time in my life.  She was one of the members of Mynydd Seren's Hunter Hall, an excellent Near Eastern Dancer, and a n older sister figure wo took me in and taught me dance and another way to look at the world and myself.  Thank you Vashtie, you will be sorely missed.

Heinrich von Griffenwald (SCA) - Heinrich was also part of Mynydd serens Hunter Hall.  He also made huge contributions in helping me out during a rough time in my life.  We didn't become good friends, but he opened my eyes to new and different cultures and beliefs.  He kept the household fun and interesting.  I still smile thinking of having to beat his socks back into his room.  Thank you Heinrich, you will be sorely missed.

Deryk- Another buddy across the puddle, he has kept my poor computers running against all odds.  He has always been patient and watchful.  Thank you, you have been a true friend and your the best as far as I'm concerned when it comes to friends and computers.

Susan- I think there is a pattern here...another from across the puddle.  Always an ear when I get frustrated, always accepting to who and what I am.  She is full of great humor and ready to bring a smile to my face.  Thank you, Susan, for helping me keeps my sanity.

RhoDonna- From the first day we met, she has been a ray of sunshine that has helped me through each morning.  Always surprised and pleased to see my work. She has been a good friend to both Bryan and I, and a second mother figure to Bryan

NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation) ~Indiana~Covered Bridge Chapter- If I named them all this would be a book.

Top of the list would be for giving me the most challenging and unusual commission I have ever done in my life! - The painted turkey toilet!

The most honored item, was asking me to participate, join their chapter and help put together the one of a kind 'Jakes- Hunter Ed Event Book'.  It helped them present their program to a NWTF competition.  They earned the honor of being the best Jakes Program in the United States. I have to say the fuzzy, feathered book is a joy to behold.

Bryan's Weekend Geek Group (BWG2) & their parents- They have been a great joy to have camp in (and out) of the house. A unique and amusing group of good kids that are always willing to help and have fun. A never ending supply of creative ideas! A band of brother's and one sister that is likely to stick together for a lifetime.
